I had a call from the finder, who said he had picked it up arriving with Dark-bellied Brent Geese. It joined the Canada Goose flock at Lower Pennington for a while. This morning, it was back with the Brents, roosting off the Butts Lagoon. After a while it got flighty and moved to Fishtail Lagoon and then back out on to the saltgrass nr Hurst Castle. We could see no rings, and given the way it was behaving this morning, we saw no reason why it wasn't a wild bird.
