ICELANDIC_TYPE REDPOLLS IN SUMMER

These redpolls are representative of the birds that have recently been recorded summering and breeding in Lewis and North Uist (Outer Hebrides) and are considered to be ICELANDIC-TYPE REDPOLLS. They are large redpolls, predominantly dark in plumage (but highly variable), appearing quite grey in winter.
